- Tasmania’s driest April since 2015, with rainfall 51% below the average
- Widespread rainfall deficiencies across Victoria, eastern South Australia, and the NSW slopes
- Water storages 10–50% lower than this time last year in many regions
- Cool-season rainfall is looking well below average through to July.
To put it simply: the Autumn Break hasn’t arrived for most areas—and that’s delaying crucial crop and pasture growth.
